Group training

Communication and understanding are crucial for successful team collaboration. Understanding begins with knowing why people do things their way, what drives them in their actions, and knowing when they are at their best. Then communicating about why, what, and when is key to support development and success.

A group training, workshop or duo-session is a great choice for operational teams, project groups, co-owners and even for partners.
This is an example of what a team trajectory could look like. There are different ways in which we can format a training or workshop. Let's discuss which elements serve your team best.

1| Understand the Strengths-based Approach
the framework

A short introduction will acquaint the organization with the strengths-based approach. We will talk about the strength-based way of working and its potential gains in performance, engagement, and work satisfaction. An explanation of how the 34 strengths framework should be interpreted will help to better understand its goal and makes it easier to comprehend and apply strengths. This is a good time to address any questions and to get excited about what is next.

2| Discover your Strengths
the CliftonStrengths Assessment
All team members are invited to take the online CliftonStrengths Assessment (30-45 minutes). Time and space are up to them, as long as there are no distractions while taking the test. After completion, they will immediately receive a personalized CliftonStrengths 34 Report, which will give them insights in their unique strengths set.

3 | Enrich your Perspective
the coaching session

Understanding your own strengths is essential in collaboration with others. During a 1.5 to 2-hours online personal coaching session, each individual will focus on the interplay between their unique top 10 strengths. How do you recognize them? What do they bring to the team? And most importantly, how can you use more of your strengths to reach your goals and feel energized?
My questions and insights will guide the individual on a path to fully grasp what is important to them, what makes them unique and valuable, how to communicate with their strengths, and how to apply their strengths to their every day actions and (shared) goals.

4 | Team Magic
the group session

Bringing the team together to discuss what every individual needs and what value they bring based on their strengths, will provide a great foundation for team effectiveness. A one-day interactive session full of practical group exercises will not only provide insights in team dynamics, but also easily applicable daily practices to encourage each team member and the team to grow as a whole and accomplish desired goals.

5 | Sustaining Strengths
the follow up

After the training, the team is encouraged to continue building on their insights, and implementing the practical exercises in individual and team routines. This will keep strengths and this way of working on top of mind. To deepen knowledge and implementation of strength-based working, CC&C offers individual coaching trajectories, leadership trajectories, recap sessions with leadership and/or teams, and HR consulting.
