For decades, people development and psychology revolved around people's shortcomings and fixing their weaknesses. An individual's area of weakness is often thought of as their greatest area of opportunity. In the late 90's, the positive psychology movement discovered that frankly people have much more potential for growth when they invest their energy in developing their strengths instead of correcting what is wrong with them.
The CliftonStrengths® Assessment was designed and scientifically validated to measure an individual's unique talents. Talents are described as your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving. These unique talents are categorized in 34 CliftonStrengths Themes and 4 Domains. All 34 strengths and the 4 domains are different, but equally valuable.
